Stichting Table Mountain
is an organisation that has been established
to help and heal the pains of the past, but
most of all to give children,no matter how
small or how big , a better future, a chance to
survive all odds and become great and strong
in their own right and move on to become great
leaders and wise politicians or anything else
they want to be.
In
South
Africa
there is a lot happening
and all kinds of different changes are taking
place. The government is doing it utmost best
to accommodate different needs for all the
different people that together form the great
rainbow nation. But as we all know some things
are easier said than done and therefore the
government has a great task which is not an
easy one; It can use all the help it can get
also from people like you and me and Stichting
Table
Mountain.
A
t the moment the children
are our main concern, for lots of children the
situation is unimaginable. In a lot of poverty
stricken areas cape flats and townships
children are being abused, beaten and even
raped by their own family members. These
helpless children in most cases run away from
home, just to fall into the hands of ruthless
child molesters and other unthinkable
people.
This is a new generation
of homeless children roaming the streets
of
South Africa with nobody
to care for them. They are sick and have
various diseases and illnesses they sleep in
alleyways, they eat dirt and as mentioned
above horrible things happens to them every
day again and again, and let us not forget the
ones who have AIDS. These children that are
supposed to be the future of the rainbow
nation are a part of us!! Can you imagine that
there are lots of us closing our eyes and
wishing them away!! But for the millions out
there who really still cares this is where
you, me and Stichting
Table
Mountain
can step in to make a
difference.
